01
Calm is the standard
No loud music. No dark rooms. Just focused, intentional movement — where the environment works for you, not against you.
02
Two ways to move, one place to b·long
Two distinct reformer classes under one roof — so you can meet yourself where you are, every day.
03
Exceptional instruction, intentional programming
Our monthly programming is intentionally sequenced to build strength and stability over time — guided by instructors who know the difference.
our classes
TRADITIONAL TONE
WHAT: Our take on classical Pilates — focused on control, alignment, and deep muscle engagement. Expect slow, intentional movement to lengthen, tone, and build a strong foundation.
WHO’S IT FOR: Ideal for those new to Pilates, easing back in, or looking for a more controlled, lower-intensity class. Also suited for pre/postnatal and post-injury clients.
MODERN STRENGTH
WHAT: A strength-focused class designed to build deep, lasting strength through controlled, progressive movement. Expect longer time under tension and full-body work that challenges with intention.
WHO’S IT FOR: Ideal for committed clients who want to work hard, feel challenged, and see serious results.
meet our founder, Liz Merrill
A lifelong athlete — competitive swimmer, triathlete, distance runner. Then, in 2022, a broken femur changed everything. Twenty weeks without walking. A body that didn't recognize itself.
Pilates was the revelation. It rebuilt her strength, restored her flexibility, and gave her something decades of intense training never had: precision. Intelligence. A practice that listened to her body instead of punishing it.
She fell in love. And when she realized there was no reformer studio on Coronado, the decision made itself.
b·long was built on the belief that this kind of movement should be available to everyone — not just athletes, not just the flexible, not just those who already know what they're doing. If you have a body, you b·long here.
"This studio exists because my body demanded something better. I built it so yours can have the same."
